02.05.08 - Letter To Leisha

Alright, since we didn't give a shit about the weekly topics for a while, I thought I needed to add something of huge importance, force majeure, to fill in this hole. The title says it all. This is for us (who should be drunk by now or shortly) not to forget our letter to Leisha.

I think we should cover some important aspects:
- How did we get obsessed over Leisha - and that concerns my extremely tuned gaydar;
- A cover song that demonstrates our love for her and her band
- An invitation to go out for a drink
- Drink preferences
- Sexual preferences
- Age preferences
- An offer to make guest appearances as session musicians in her upcoming concerts/records
- A compliment about her lovely mitochondria so that we can link
- An invitation to join United By Mitochondria!!!

I'm disappointed with the lack of response here. Tsk tsk tsk.

I can play it all on keys, it's very simple. Get your darbuka and practice the beats! Or should I put real drums to it? I have patterns. You can sing, then 'cos I'm a disaster when it comes to vocals.
I should record the damn keyboards and guitars, then pass it for you to do whatever you want with it. But that whatever you want has to include singing

Cool. If I have time, I'm planning to pick up my guitar today and learn it all on guitar as well. Should I play with distortion?
And since I still have that problem recording distorted guitar on computer, I figured I can do as they sometimes do in studios - point a mic right into the center of my amp, and record it from there. I think it's going to work...

I like distortion, but pick what you like.. or what sounds better!
