My favorite technique = listen to music. I'm pretty music-sensitive, or something. For example, metal calms me down and pop music puts a smile on my face. I also like to go shopping, cook or exercise. Reading doesn't work well for me. If i read when being nervous, i read too quickly and don't concentrate much on the book. And then i get pissed ...
